Instructions: Use the arrow keys to move your player (black square) to the target (red square) within the time range. To start a new game, press the green flag.
When entering the difficulty of your choice, E means easy (7 seconds, 25x25 pixels sprites, and speed range 10 to to 10√2), M means medium (5 seconds, 20x20 pixels sprites, and speed range 10 to 10√2), H means hard (3 seconds, 13x13 pixels sprites, and speed range 10 to 10√2), and X means extreme (2.8 seconds, 10x10 pixels sprites, and speed range 6 to 6√2). If you do not enter one of the following letters, or if you have more than one letter, it will clear what you entered, and you will have to reenter it.
Press the S key to save a game that is in progress. When the save list appears, double click the code to copy it so you can save it for when you come back.
Press L to load from a save, then follow the prompts on the screen using your save code until the prompts disappear and the game takes you back to where you left off; if you enter an invalid number into the first, second, or third load prompts, it will repeat the question, and you will have to enter the number again. To reset the game, press R outside of a textbox. To reset the game and erase your personal highest scores, your hits, your misses, and your time, press R and D simultaneously, then follow the onscreen prompts. To show/hide high scores (you can only do this after resetting the game (either resetting the game only, or resetting the game and erasing your data)), after saving a game, or after completing a game by winning/losing) .
To qualify for all-rime high scores (shortest time to beat a level) for any of the levels, you need to win the game with 0 misses in one go, or in two sections (creating and loading a save code exactly once) with 0 misses in either section.
To toggle cheat mode, quickly tap C (only once). However, enabling cheat mode will make you ineligible for high scores for that round, even if you save your game and resume at a later time using the save code.
Important Notes: W-A-S-D cannot be used to move your player as S is the save game button. Personal high score lists that are not current all-time high scores are not saved to the cloud and will be deleted upon closing and reopening the game.
Additional Notes and Information: This game is supposed to be played in full screen mode. To win a round, you have to get 50 hits without getting 16 misses. If you get 16 misses, you lose the round. In the instructions, the speed range is displayed as minimum speed-maximum range. If you uninstall an installed copy of the game on Windows, and you choose to remove all user data, that means that your personal and all-time high scores will be removed as well. Resetting the game does not do this. Accidentally pressing R, or R and D and then choosing to keep existing data, during a game, will shut off the game. You will have to press the green flag again, or load from a save code. A high score with a value of 0 means that it has not been set yet by any person.
